SEJ welcomes participation by independent hosts of hospitality receptions (below) and exhibitors.

Fees paid to SEJ for use and management of exhibit and hospitality space during the conference provide unrestricted income which will be used to defray costs of SEJ general operating in 2007.

SEJ played no role in content planning for independent exhibits and hospitality receptions.

Join the Conservation Law Foundation (CLF) in the Diamond I Ballroom as we celebrate forty years of protecting New England's environment. We'll welcome SEJ members to enjoy Vermont's own micro-brewed beers and its specialty cheeses. CLF's advocates and experts will be on hand to chat about emerging trends in environmental protection and CLF initiatives with regional, national, and international implications. CLF works to combat climate change, promote renewable energy and efficiency, fight air and water pollution, build healthy fishing communities and protect marine habitat, maintain government transparency and accountability, fight sprawl, encourage development of public transit, and defend public health.

Join the British Government's delegation in the Emerald Ballroom II-B on Thursday, October 26th from 5-8pm to view an internationally acclaimed photo exhibit on climate change, 'North-South-East-West', and of course, plenty of beer and local Vermont nibbles. The British Government has been very active on the international stage in support of efforts to tackle climate change and our presence at this year's SEJ conference is an important part of this process. So, come on over to the 'Climate Change Pub' and sample some fine British hospitality.

The Knight Center for Environmental Journalism invites SEJ members to attend a reception featuring beer, wine, soft drinks and tasty treats. We welcome alumni of our journalism school and workshops to stop by and get re-acquainted. We also welcome students, journalists and other colleagues who would like to learn more about the Knight Center's many programs and activities in Michigan, the United States and around the world. We'll distribute Knight Center souvenirs and give attendees a chance to win some special door prizes. We hope you'll join us and meet our faculty, staff and students.
