SOME INTRIGUING EPA FOIA REQUESTS in 2002-2003 By Michael Ravnitzky, mikerav@mindspring.com The EPA Headquarters has handled a number of interesting FOIA requests. You can get a complete list of their FOIA requests, as well as a list of the requests handled by their field offices. Really, there are thousands of requests identified by EPA. But Išve selected a few of the requests handled at EPA Headquarters that seem to be the most intriguing. I must emphasize that it is purely a personal selection. For any of these requests Išve identified, you can ask the EPA for - a copy of the letter of request, - the letter of response, - the records provided to the requester, such as photocopies or perhaps even computer databases where applicable, and - copies of the FOIA administrative tracking file -- including any memos or emails associated with processing of the request.
